Request for Proposals - HIV Services

What:

Contra Costa Health Services' AIDS Program is seeking proposals from community-based organizations to provide HIV services in Contra Costa County. The request for proposal (RFP) was released today.

Who:

The AIDS Program is looking for community based organizations with 501(c)3 non-profit status that are experienced in providing housing advocacy services, such as assistance with rental properties, renting deposits or motel vouchers, to people who are HIV positive.

When & Where:

A Bidders' Conference to explain the RFP requirements and to answer questions will be held from 1:30 - 3 p.m. on Monday, October 26 in the AIDS Program Conference Room at 597 Center Avenue, in Martinez.

Proposals are due to the AIDS Program by Monday, November 16 by 3 p.m. An electronic version of the RFP is available at www.cchealth.org or can be requested by email at cbeyer@hsd.cccounty.us

Why:

Homelessness is an issue for many HIV positive clients, because of social stigma, mental health concerns, substance abuse, poverty and the current national economic condition. This grant aims to help assist clients find and keep their housing
