What:

Graduation for 32 Bay Point residents who completed a unique eight-week dental education course. The graduates learned about tooth structure and function, nutrition, the first teeth, periodontal disease, sealant and fluoride and what happens when you visit the dentist, and will receive a certificate during their graduation

The class is the first ever conducted by the Bay Point Promotora Program, a program which trains community residents who provide Spanish-language health education to other residents. The Bay Point promotoras taught all the classes during the eight-week period
